Maryland Gym Goer received ringworm from the gym because she didn’t do this

An enthusiastic gym thought she had a bad mosquito bite – until it started to spread all over her body, a bad case of the ringworm of the fungal infection.

Jamie Samnang, 41, said that she had just completed a training in the gym last September and returned home when her arm started to itch. “I thought I might have been bitten by a mosquito, but as the days progressed, it got worse” The daily mail.

“It’s the perfect breeding ground for fungal growth.”

Recovery was rough, she said, and shared that she had to apply an anti-fungal cream three times a day three times a day. “I couldn’t go to work. It was really very bad.
