The notorious crocodilager Steve Irwin’s granddaughter does not have to detect ZS. No, the 3-year-old daughter Grace Warrior van Bindi Irwin is actually a nap. That is at least what it looks like from the latest photo of Terri Irwin.
Grace’s grandmother – or should we say her ‘rabbit’ (Iykyk) – caught the sweetest photo of Bindi Irwin and Grace on the beach. Grace is lying on her mother’s lap with her head resting on her shoulder. Her arm is tightly wrapped around her mother who has closed her eyes in bliss. In the meantime, Grace’s eyes are closed because she is out. The sleepy toddler must have had a lot of fun playing with her family on the beach.
Toddlers: they fight either naps with everything they have, or fall asleep in the most unlikely places.
“Do you remember that you could just fall asleep somewhere?” Terri wrote her Instagram post before he used the hashtag for the National Sleep Awareness Week.
Bindi quickly commented on her mother’s message and wrote: ‘So grateful for these moments. ❤️ ”
Followers were touched by the “precious” image. “There is nothing like having a moment to hold your little one when they have fallen asleep,” wrote a person. “The sweet satisfaction on your face brings so many moments back when mine was small children” “
Others knew exactly why Grace was able to fall asleep on the beach: “Everything is safe and warm in the arms of a mom ❤️ himself such a beautiful moment and family,” a person wrote.
Her mother is not the only person who cannot stop hugging little grace. Earlier this year the little girl could not stop hugging the kangaroos in the Australia Zoo. Just like with her mother, she let her head rest on a kangaroo. And although she did not fall asleep completely (which is probably the best), it was still a case of cutness.
In 2023, Bindi spoke with Sheknows about how she cherishes the time of the family and does her best to be ‘completely present’.
“Because we sometimes forget to do that because life is such a whirlwind,” she said. “So if you can find that time to be completely present with your family, it really helps to feed your soul.”
Whether it’s about looking at her daughter with a kangaroo, are the one who nestles with her on the beach, or something in between, Bindi knows how really invaluable value those moments are.
“It’s just good for your heart,” she continued. “I love that time.”
