NFL Free Agency: Aaron Rodgers, Mekhi Becton available among the best players

Teams have moved quickly in recent days and most top players in NFL Free Agency are already off the board. Or have at least agreed deals, which cannot be signed until the new competition year starts on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

That does not mean that there is not enough talent left to sign your team. Here are the 10 best available players that are still there.

Becton flourished last season. The former Jets First-Round Draft Pick had a strong season for the Super Bowl Champion Eagles, starting every game and helping Saquon Barkley to 2,000 Yards. The 363 pound Becton is in 20th place among guards in the figures of Pro Football Focus last season.

We have not finally heard whether Rodgers wants to play. If he does that, there will be interest of teams, even if he becomes 42 in December. Rodgers played pretty well last season and although he is no longer at an MVP level, he will be better than some other starting QBs around the competition in week 1.

Cooper was injured by the accounts and perhaps that is why he was not a large part of the attack, with 297 Yards in eight games. He turns 31 in June, but had a season of 1,250 meters in 2023 and was consistently productive. Teams should find out if 2024 was the first sign of a big slide.

Houston has strangely restructured the Diggs deal after acting for him, so that he could become a free agent this year. Unfortunately for Diggs he tore his ACL in week 8. That injury, in combination with his age (he will be 32 in November) makes him a risky signing despite his productive past.

Bosa is one of the bigger names on the list, but his age (becomes 30 in July) and the history of the injuries cannot be ignored. A variety of injuries has limited him over the past three seasons to 28 games and 14 bags. Yet he is a valuable player if he can stay healthy.

Reid would be a very good veteran who is suitable for many defenses. He was a very good playmaking -pass form in the Chiefs defense of Steve Spagnuolo, and at the age of 28 he would have to have a few Prime seasons left.

Allen’s Chicago trade last spring turned out not to be as if he or the bears had hoped, with 70 catches for 744 yards and six touchdowns and a struggle to fit in general. All will be 33 next month, but is still a good route runner and can defeat the coverage of humans or zone.

Robinson was up and down after a trade in the middle season to Minnesota, which in honesty was not the most talented line for him to participate in the first place. He turns 30 in October and is looking for another large payment day and can make a positive contribution.

Zeitler started 16 games for the Lions last season and is only a year away from his only career Pro Bowl in 2023. He has just turned 35, but it has value to add him to the line of a team.

Samuel Jr. Comes from a shoulder injury that has beaten him from most of the 2024 season. Yet he is only 25 years old, experienced and is a good tackler with a strong closing speed. A team that is needed to upgrade their DB room will pay him.
