Invincible Season 3 has steadily kicked my ass with these episodes. Although I had the chance to watch the first six episodes before I spoke with the cast, I didn’t get the chance to watch the next two-I had to wait like everyone else, which is always fine because I actually like to wait from week to week. In a world where we constantly tie content, it is nice to have a show that does not all fall on a streaming platform at the same time.
But then episode 7: “What have I done?” cases on the 2025 TV scheduleAnd now I constantly stare at a wall in silence because I have trouble handling this. Robert Kirkman and his shows again attracted a quick on me, and I don’t know how to think about it. Let’s talk about it.
I really started to love Rex
Yes, the fast is rex, let’s just go into it.
I mean, everyone knows I love Invincible. I agree that it is one of the best superhero shows Outside of that. Well, it’s one of the Best shows on Amazon Prime General. A big reason Why I like it so much that, if Jason Mantzoukas said in my interview with himRobert Kirkman, who also wrote the Invincible Comics, gives everyone the chance to grow. Everyone gets their own story, and Rex finally got that in season 3 after two seasons that I was not the biggest fan of his Chauvinistic pigs tendencies.
But of course, in this last episode, he was killed – by not sacrificing himself less to rub salt in that wound in that wound. I will never be the same legitimate, because now I am Finally Rex starts to like. I really enjoyed the deeper story behind him in season 3, but then it was all taken away.

It felt like his death was placed there for shock value
So let me precede this by saying that I didn’t have the chance to read everything Invincible strips. When Rex dies in those comics, I was not aware. But even then I am sure it was probably well executed and did not feel rushed. The thing with killing in comics is that you usually have much more free space to expand more about the character.
Perhaps in those comics, you were able to get to know the honest rex a little more for his downfall, and in that way his death really fell out like a great one. But in the show it felt like it was there to give Rex one last good act he could do before he would kill him for shock value.
It reminded me of one of the most heartbreaking death The Walking DeadBeth. It felt like we were in season 4, we came Real Know her, and she got a huge fan who followed 5 before season. Then she was suddenly killed in the final of the season 5 in season 5. All that structure for this character to do great things was simply demolished.
That is how I feel with Rex … and I am not sure how excited I am about this perilous situation.
But I trust Robert Kirkman … Even when his shows hurt me time and again
My first instinct is to turn away things like this, because I don’t like it when shows do that. I am completely in favor of shocking deaths, but if it feels like a character is going to play a more important role, and then it is suddenly torn away that things are not right. I think if Rex might have died in season 4, I would have felt a little better about it.
But so fast? This soon? Don’t know.
However, I trust Robert Kirkman. He has never sent me wrong in most of his stories because he really knows how to tell them. So I’m going to try it and to trust The death of that rex is really going to mean something, and it will not only be forgotten the next episode, because I really can’t handle it anymore.
Because he is also the maker of the TV program, I have faith. Even if I know, I will probably cry my eyes in the final. Maybe I concentrate on Mark and Eve’s relationship To make me happy now.
